BARCELONA—THE (ALMOST) COMPLETE (TOURIST) LIST

There’s a lot to see in Barcelona hence a dedicated post on which of these tourist attractions you should visit. If you're planning a 4 to 5 day long trip to Barcelona, here are the spots that I recommend you visit!

Gaudi Things
The city of Barcelona is not complete without a tour of Gaudi’s artworks. These spots are very popular and tickets run out very quickly. I recommend you to book advanced tickets online through these links. The tickets you purchase will give you an exact timing on when to enter each attraction which it helps to plan your day and will also help to prevent disappointment of not being able to get in.

La Sagrada Familia
You can first begin at La Sagrada Familia, currently the world’s oldest and longest architecture project. It is many things in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage, attracts more than millions of tourists every year and you can see why. The church is a magnificent sight to take in and it’s hard to believe how it was conceited before the Spanish Civil War.

Park Güell

Park Güell is a big garden where it houses also Gaudi’s residence. It is off the city center so you should prepare ample time before heading there.

Casa Batlló
An iconic Gaudi work, this house is a great way to discover his work. We had options of early access, late night music sessions and went with the early access. Casa Batlló is quite a cramped venue so it’s great if you don’t mind paying a little extra to avoid the tourist crowds. Book online to secure your tickets and entry timing!

Umbracle del Parc de la Ciutadella
Considered to be one of the greenest oasis in Barcelona, this park is HUGE! If you have the time, pack up a bottle of wine, cheese and fruits and throw a picnic. It's one of the greatest pleasures of summer!

MACBA: Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona
The MACBA is a fantastic place to check out if you are into modern art. When I was visiting, they had several exhibitions showing so do check in advance to see if that's what you want to check out. What I love most about MACBA is the excellent curation of the museum’s store.

Half-day tour to Montserrat with Hot Air Balloon
Montserrat is home to one of the world’s oldest monastery. I recommend using a half day tour that also combines with a hot air balloon experience. This takes you over the scenic landscapes of the Catalonian city which I believe is very worth the pennies. I booked mine through WeBarcelona and highly recommend this experience as it made going to Montserrat a very easy, enjoyable experience. You first wake up early in the morning to get picked up by WeBarcelona, and then you continue with the hot air balloon experience, followed by a drive up Montserrat. It was as easy as dropping yourself at the pickup point and having someone cater to every needs of yours.

Day Trip to Girona
If you’re a massive fan of Game of Thrones, I’d strongly recommend a day trip to Girona. There are multiple spots where the TV series was filmed. If you aren’t a GOT fan, Girona’s still an amazing place to visit. It’s only 2-hours of train ride away from Barcelona Sants station. The city is foot-friendly and has amazing food. Check out these spots for a traditional vermouth, coffee and brunch. If you have more time, do check out the Salvador Dali’s trail to discover the artist’s inspirations through his years of creating art.

I have included all of these locations in a Google Maps link!

My personal tips include:
- Book all your tickets online through the official website. I learnt my lesson by booking with a third party tour and couldn't get onto the tour I paid for as I was slightly late. I have personally linked every attraction to its official site.
- Most websites offer exclusive discounts (especially if you're travelling in groups) so compare prices before booking to save tons of money.
- If you're planning a day trip to Girona, do take the express train that will cut short your travel time. Don't forget to check the weather as well as it can get cloudy often in Girona!
- The beauty of Barcelona is that most of the city's attractions are within the city area, so don't be afraid to hop onto a public transport.

Have fun!

  3. Others are puts explicitly made to pull in more guests to a specific area; extraordinary instances of these are foundations with oddity design (structures with uncommon shapes like a goliath tea cup house or an enormous donut molded bread shop); and unassuming community places with one of a kind item (like the World's Largest Ball of Twine.) Others yet, are genuine tourist attractions that are invaded by corporate greed and unchecked tourist populace. https://hotelgods.com/

  4. These spots were (and still is) as often as possible publicized all through principle avenues. Tremendous announcements and even erratically marked signs were made to grab the eye of tourists without arranged agendas. Gépszállítás belföldön és külföldről Europa-Road

  9. And when your degree comes integrated with the hospitality subjects, the scope opens up even more. You may land a job with a global chain, be on cruise ships or five-star resorts or simply become a tour guide in the field. https://www.buyyoutubesubscribers.in/
